Anton Yelchin born as Anton Viktorovich Yelchin on March 11th, 1989 in Leningrad, USSR is an upcoming wonderful American film and television actor. He won Best Performance in a Feature Film - Leading Young Actor at the 2002 Young Artist Awards.
Anton Yelchin was born to the celebrated figure skaters, Irina Korina and Viktor Yelchin. They were the stars of the Leningrad Ice Ballet for fifteen years. Yelchin's family moved to United States in 1989 and began working as skating choreographer and skating coach. He attended the Sherman Oaks Center for Enriched Studies in Tarzana, California. He later joined the University of Southern California in the fall of 2007 to study film and acting.
Anton Yelchin began acting at the age of eleven with a small role in "A Time for Dancing" {2000} and has since appeared in several television series, made-for-television movies, and films, such as "Along Came a Spider", "Hearts in Atlantis", "House of D", "Alpha Dog", "Jack" and "Taken". Anton Yelchin also rendered intense performance in television series such as "ER", "The Practice", and “Criminal Minds" and so on. His performances in "Hearts in Atlantis" and "Alpha Dog" were critically hailed by the press.
